Bilderberg Appoints Rompuy as First EU President-First Year of New World Order

One giant step closer to the New World Order, the ratification of the Treaty of Lisbon further streamlines, or centralizes European government. With its single currency, a constitution that takes precedence over all those of its member nations and the new position of President of the European Union, now held by Bilderberg appointed Herman Van Rompuy, the global government is on its way.

During Rompuy's intervention as President on November 19th, he admittedly stated that "2009 is also the first year of global governance, with the establishment of the G20 in the middle of the financial crisis. The climate conference in Copenhagen is another step towards the global management of our planet."

It's going to be very important to pay close attention to the activities of the European Union and President Van Rompuy in the future as this will be an indication as to what New World Order has in store for us. The European Union is in fact after all a new order, maybe not on a global scale, but a continental scale is quite large enough for concern.

On 19 November 2009, under the new Treaty of Lisbon, former Belgian President Herman Van Rompuy was appointed to be the first permanent President of the European Council, a position he takes up on 1 January 2010.

According to Belgian newspaper De Morgen, van Rompuy told colleagues a few weeks ago that to achieve a top EU function you must "not ask for high office, but become a grey mouse, and offers will come."

On 11 November 2009, Mario Borghezio, Italian member of European Parliament mentioned that potential future European president and Foreign Affairs minister like Jan Peter Balkenende, David Miliband, Herman Van Rompuy could be the candidate of Bilderberg group and Trilateral commission instead of being candidates of their home country political party.

The next day, Herman Van Rompuy came to the Castle of the Valley of the Duchess for a meeting held by Bilderberg group, one of the globally and politically influential organizations that make up the Round Table. He made a speech about his vision of the European governance. He explained that Europe should become federalist like the United States of America, and thus apply a European Union wide tax.

It is known from leaked documents that the 1955 Bilderberg Group conference held in Germany discussed the agenda to create a European Union and a single EU currency. A BBC investigative team was allowed to access Bilderberg files which confirmed that the EU and the Euro were products of Bilderberg.

In keeping with the traditional agenda of the global elite Herman Van Rompuy was not elected, he was appointed at a recent meeting of the Bilderberg group of top politicians, bankers and businessmen, the global elite, the same group's meetings that Bill Clinton and Tony Blair attended before becoming President and Prime Minister.

The group officially meets in secret, but when selected details of Van Rompuy's remarks leaked out, his office was forced to issue a public statement on his behalf.

"The financing of the welfare state, irrespective of the social reform we implement, will require new resources," he said. "The possibility of financial levies at European level needs to be seriously reviewed."

Within days of taking office January 1, 2010, President Van Rompuy will start pushing controversial proposals already made by the EU commissioner, José Manuel Barroso, for a new "Euro tax".

After the Bilderberg meeting Van Rompuy's spokesman said he would look favorably on either green taxes or a version of the Tobin Tax, originally proposed in 1972 by the US economist James Tobin. Gordon Brown had previously made a similar tax proposal except his idea was to implement a global tax. Such taxes would only further the agenda of the global elite; the taxes would affect lower incomes the most, making the poor poorer while the rich get richer.

As I previously reported in The Global Unionthe world is quickly heading toward a one-world government. The advance of the EU facilitated by the Treaty of Lisbon clearly shows that the New World Order is becoming a reality.

I will be keeping a close eye on the developments of the other nation-unions such as the African Union, the Asia Cooperation Dialogue, the Union of South American Nations and the speculated North American Union for similarities to the EU and for characteristics of the globalist's agenda to create a one-world government. When the worlds Unions combine, as the 27 nations of Europe has, there will be a New World Order.
