Global War on Terror or Terrible Global War?
Supposedly, the war on terror began as a response to the attacks on September 11, 2001. The attackers were supposedly Saudis and the leader Osama bin Laden. We all know this of course; it was hypnotically repeated in the mainstream news for years. The American people suddenly had a new outside threat to unite and compel them to take action. It didn't take long before 99% of Americans developed a great prejudice against Arab people while soldiers killed them in the name of "freedom".
Little did we know however that there is no evidence whatsoever that the attackers were Saudis, al Qaeda or were led by Osama Bin Laden. The investigation into 9/11 did not begin until two years after the attacks because Vice President Dick Cheney stalled it warning that an investigation would damage the war on terror. Don't you find this odd? If there was no investigation, we started two wars based an assumption, or a theory.
According to an in-depth examination by the Washington Post [Source: David Bohrer / White House], within hours of the 9/11 attacks, Vice President Dick Cheney begins working to secure additional powers for the White House. Cheney had plans in place to begin acquiring these powers for the executive branch before the attacks, but had not begun to execute them.
Rex Tomb, Chief of Investigative Publicity for the FBI, stated "The reason why 9/11 is not mentioned on Usama Bin Laden's Most Wanted page is because the FBI has no hard evidence connection Bin Laden to 9/11." Bin Laden has not been indicted or charged with the 9/11 attacks. The FBI wanted page of Bin Laden lists all the other attacks he is wanted for but not 9/11. The only crimes Bin Laden is wanted for by the FBI involves attacks against U.S. nationals outside of the United States. The FBI updated the wanted page for Bin Laden in November 2001 but still had not mentioned the 9/11 attacks.
Furthermore, a senate report has recently been released confirming that when bin laden was within grasp of the US military in 2001 they let him go, intentionally. Don't you find this odd? Two wars have continued for 8 years, still no evidence of Islam, al Qaeda, or even Bin Laden involvement. Let us also not forget the lack of weapons of mass destruction. Why? Haven't you seen the video of George W. Bush laughing and joking about the absence of WMD's in Iraq? It is a pure admission that it had nothing to do with why we went to Iraq.
When the 9-11 commission did finally complete an investigation it basically concluded that a group of Arab men got together and planned to attack America. The lack of evidence as mentioned earlier means that this conclusion is only a theory, accurately defined as a "conspiracy theory".
There are many Americans today that now believe the 9/11 attacks were a product of our own government that conspired to justify the wars and the Patriot Act. This is also a "conspiracy theory". This means almost everyone on earth essentially believes that America started two wars based on a conspiracy theory. It is only a matter of which one you believe in, but either way, the only conclusion is that the wars are not justified.
Also consider that the government's version of the conspiracy theory did not mention anything about Iraqi's being involved. Before we invaded Iraq there were no serious threats emanating from that country. The country was weak and torn but the United States blew them to hell in days. So why was there so much resistance and fighting in Iraq?
The Iraqi people only attacked Americans for so long because we blew their country apart and threw them into turmoil based on nothing. It was all based on a silly conspiracy theory. It is undeniable that if a foreign military were to do the same thing in America that the American people would have reacted in the same exact way. Ask yourself why so many American soldiers and innocent civilians had to die for these lies.
If you have never heard of Operation NORTHWOODS now is the time to read it. Operation NORTHWOODS is basically proof the United States government does in fact plan false flag operations. The intent of the memorandum to the Secretary of Defense was to explore the possible pretexts for war that would justify U.S. military action in Cuba in 1962.
So what was the purpose of the wars? Always look toward money and control as the primary culprit. The war on terror was not a war on terror at all. It was a war of terror. This is not a war on religion or Islam either. This is a war on humanity and truth.
